The Build
Overview
Riding on 19" Turbo wheels, this 987.2 Cayman is showing just 56k miles and looks to have been well cared for. It is riding a bit lower thanks to aftermarket coilovers, and a Borla exhaust has been fitted to let the naturally aspirated flat-six be heard. While this may be a base model car, it still delivers the legendary Porsche driving experience, with the limits of performance more accessible to mere mortals thanks to the forgiving mid-engine layout. Being a 987.2, there are no IMS bearing issues to worry about thanks to the revised engine design.
