With a flat-six capable of spinning up to 8,400RPM, this first-year 997.1 GT3 has everything you could ever want in a weekend companion. This is one of those cars that rewards equally on the track or on the backroads, and it does it reliably thanks to the bulletproof Mezger engine. This example sports a lightweight flywheel and a more capable limited-slip differential. It warms our hearts to see this one has accumulated some miles, and we would love to add more on the best roads we know of.
