The Build
Overview
Professionally built for track duty, this 987.1 Cayman benefits from a massive list of modifications to make it a worthy competitor. Though it started life as a base Cayman, a larger displacement 3.4L motor out of a Cayman S has been fitted for more grunt. A six-point roll cage has been welded in for safety and compliance, and just about every track modification imaginable has been fitted. Anyone seriously into racing will know what they are looking at here. By our math, it looks like it all adds up to a heck of a lot of fun.
