Benefitting from a younger engine and transmission, this NA MX-5 track car looks to be well sorted and ready for track duty. The larger displacement engine out of a 2003 MX-5 has been tuned and has bigger injectors and a higher flow fuel pump, and a high-flow catalytic converter and a Racing Beat cat-back exhaust help reduce pumping losses. Chassis braces improve torsional rigidity and work with aftermarket coilovers and beefier sway bars to provide more predictable handling, and a Wilwood big brake kit provides consistent braking in demanding conditions.
