The Build
Overview
Featuring a long list of choice upgrades, this 996 911 Turbo has been converted to rear-wheel drive for a more conventional feel. A bigger turbo has been fitted, aided by a larger diameter catless exhaust system to reduce pumping losses. A lightweight clutch helps put the power down reliably, while solid engine mounts stiffen things up and let some of the motor vibration into the chassis. Suspension upgrades and bigger 997 front brakes have been added to make this 911 a well-rounded performer.
