The Build
2011 Subaru STi '2JZ Swap'
Overview
Powered by a freshly built 2JZ engine, this STi is sending all of the power to the rear wheels and looks like a really fun build. The internals of the engine have been upgraded with GTE connecting rods and ACL Race rod bearings along with the proper GTE head gasket and ARP head studs to keep everything together under boost. A BMW manual transmission with a stage 3 clutch has been employed to send the power to the back, and it is currently offering 450hp at the wheels on 91 octane. This example has recently seen fresh paint, and we are fond of the Toyota badge overlays that hint at what lurks under the hood.
