The Build
Overview
Starting its life as a fuel-sipping ‘Eta’, this E30 325e has had its motor swapped for a more powerful and modern M52 with a ZF 5-speed manual. A long list of mods have been fitted to give it more go and more grip. A lighter flywheel reduces rotational inertia and lets the motor spin more freely, and a limited-slip differential helps it power out of the corners. We are fond of the purple wrap, which promises fun that we are confident it delivers in spades.
