2004 BMW M3 'Track Car'
Overview
Built to race in the NASA ST4/ST5 series, this E46 M3 has a recently built engine and an extensive list of upgrades to make it more competitive. It has been bored out slightly and is running a 12.5:1 compression ratio for a bit more power, and upgraded valve springs with titanium retainers have been employed to keep the revs coming. A full cage and fire suppression system have been fitted to comply with safety regulations, and a substantial rear wing has been added to provide more downforce at speed.
