Producing an estimated 400HP based on the modifications, this stealthy MK 7 Golf R is a wolf in sheep’s clothing to the untrained eye. The exterior offers a couple minor clues to the capabilities of this hot hatch, including larger diameter exhaust tips and a reduced ride height. Given the nimble handling and confidence-inspiring all-wheel drive system, we imagine this would be a great companion to have on the twisties any season of the year.
