The Build
Overview
This two-owner GTI has been left largely stock mechanically and was optioned with the iconic Tartan cloth interior. It is riding a bit lower thanks to VWR springs, and we are fond of the Sparco wheels which help freshen up the look. Weighing two hundred pounds less than its AWD brother, the GTI is more nimble and lively in the corners, and its excellent steering feel and great manual gearbox make it a joy to drive in the canyons. Sale also includes stock wheels wrapped in winter tires.
