The Build
Overview
A wolf in sheep’s clothing, this Golf R doesn’t drop hints that it has been modified to stage 2 with a generous list of upgrades. A cold air intake keeps the air cool and dense as it enters the turbo, and a larger diameter downpipe coupled with a high-flow catalytic converter reduce pumping losses, while an ECU tune ties it all together to deliver more power. As an added bonus, the ECU has been coded to allow for fully disabling traction control and other useful tricks.
