The Build
Featuring a dyno tuned 2.5L motor out of a Mark II Ford Focus, this NC MX-5 has been built to take on the track. A beefier clutch has been employed to handle the added grunt, and a lightweight flywheel helps make the throttle more responsive to inputs. Upgraded headers and a freer-flowing exhaust have been fitted to leverage few extra horsepower. This example comes with a custom half cage which is currently uninstalled.
