The Build
Overview
Combining a E46 M3 chassis with a S65 V8 out of a E92 M3, this track car brings BMW’s best hits into one fun package. This appears to be a nearly complete project with just a few details remaining to be completed. Built for dedicated track use, it includes a Motec ECU, new rod bearings and accessories, an AIM dash, and a 1.5-way limited-slip diff. The engine fires up but needs a tune, and a hood needs to be fabricated to fit over the larger motor. This looks like a very solid start to a fantastic track build.
