Optioned with the backroads in mind, this MX-5 sports the ‘R Package’ which removed unnecessary comforts like power steering and power windows to keep the focus on driving. This example was also ordered without air conditioning to further reduce weight. The package also brought a limited-slip differential and stiffer Bilstein suspension which has been upgraded with Goodwin Racing coilovers, and front and rear air dams along with a rear spoiler offer a more aggressive look. This example wears the factory hardtop and some worthy aftermarket parts including a CARB-legal Jackson Racing header and a lightweight Fujitsubo JDM exhaust.
