The Build
Overview
Prepared for the track, this supercharged ZN6 FR-S can also be used for attacking the canyons thanks to CARB-legal upgrades. A Jackson Racing C38 supercharger forces extra air into the motor to give it more power, and a GReddy cat-back exhaust reduces pumping losses and provides more music out the back. A beefier clutch puts the power down reliably, while a Toda lightweight flywheel helps reduce parasitic losses and lets the engine spin up more freely. Annex Clubspec Pro Coilovers work with other worthy suspension upgrades to give it more grip in the corners, and some aero bits including a substantial Verus Engineering rear wing provide more downforce at speed.
