The Build
Overview
This Mini Cooper John Cooper Works GP offers some thoughtful upgrades and was featured on a YouTube episode of The Smoking Tire. The original owner worked at TC Kline and developed this car to help take it to the next level on the backroads. It is offering 220hp at the wheels thanks to an upgraded intake and a custom tune, and a more capable six-row intercooler helps keep charge temperatures down. This example is riding on TC Kline two-way adjustable coilovers for more predictable handling, and a beefier rear sway bar helps keep it flat in the corners.
