The Build
Overview
Built for track duty while maintaining street legal status, this E82 135i sports a properly built engine for some extra power. Carrillo pistons and connecting rods keep it reliable, and Ferrea valve springs have been leveraged to prevent valve float. A larger Precision 6266 turbo provides the motor with more of the air that it craves, and more capable injectors and dual Walbro fuel pumps feed it all the fuel it needs. Steering-selectable engine maps (650-800hp) help dial it in on the fly, and TCKline double-adjustable coilovers have been fitted along with some supporting suspension upgrades to help it get around corners in a hurry.
