2006 Porsche 911 'Track Car'

Blessed with a recently rebuilt GT3 engine, this 997.1 911 track car was race winner at a Watkins Glen Grand Am GS Race. Originally built as a Koni Challenge car, it features a mig-welded full cage with side door bar protection and a number of go-fast GT3 goodies including brake calipers and lower control arms. A three-way adjustable suspension with remote reservoirs allows it to be dialed-in for any track condition, and weight savings comes by way of a stripped interior, a carbon fiber roof and carbon fiber doors. This example looks like it could be a turnkey solution to mediocre weekends.
