The Build
Overview
Finished in rare Polar Blue, this Elise has been owned by the same owner for sixteen years and appears to have been left bone stock. While it may not have a huge amount of power on tap, it follows Colin Chapman’s formula of ‘adding lightness’. Weighing in at under 1,975 pounds, the Elise still manages to achieve the ratio of ten pounds per horsepower. The lack of mass is what makes it a lot of fun in the twisty bits, which happens to be exactly where we like spending our time.
