The Build
Overview
Built as a streetable daily by a GM vehicle dynamics engineer, this C6 Corvette sports a gold roll cage for safety. Highly capable Penske 8300 dampers with remote reservoirs have been fitted with custom valving and digressive pistons, and 1-inch drop spindles have been employed with geometry correction to maximize the contact patch. The motor has gained a more efficient intake and exhaust system to unlock extra power, and it was recently compression tested with excellent results. While this example has logged some miles, it looks to have been very well cared for and a generous list of top-shelf parts make it ready for great times at the track.
