2003 Mitsubishi Evo

There is hardly a better way to build upon a legend than by borrowing parts from a newer model of the same lineage. This Evo 8 takes that approach by borrowing wheels from an Evo 9, which we think suit the car well. More importantly, it sources a turbo from the Evo 9 to give it more grunt, assisted by a higher flowing fuel pump and injectors to feed extra fuel to the additional air provided by the turbo, ending with a larger exhaust system and high-flow cat to reduce pumping losses. Given the wide array of modifications, we suspect that this example is a well-balanced performer.
