The Build
Overview
With over $25k in work completed including the rod bearings, VANOS, and the subframe reinforcement, this Mystic Blue E46 M3 looks to be well-sorted. It was originally optioned with a SMG II transmission, but a proper three-pedal manual was recently fitted and the drivetrain was rebuilt to make it run like new again. It has been left mostly stock other than improved dampers and springs to keep it tidy in the corners. This example has logged some miles, but it appears to support our belief that mileage isn’t always the best indicator of condition.
