The Build
Overview
Sporting a built high-revving S54 engine out of an E46 M3, this E36 M3 has been gutted and fully prepped for track duty. The engine offers 321hp at the wheels thanks to extensive head work completed by Lang Racing including supertech valve springs and a 5-angle valve job, and the bottom end was built with reliability in mind with forged pistons and CP Carillo Pro H Rods. A lightweight flywheel reduces parasitic losses while a beefier clutch puts the power down reliably, TC Kline double-adjustable dampers allow it to be dialed-in properly for track conditions, and an Essex AP Racing Competition front brake kit keeps braking consistent.
