      Overview

This NA MX-5 ‘Monster Miata’ looks mostly tame from the exterior, but it is motivated by a Ford 302 V8 with some GT40 upgrades. While the larger motor weighs a bit more, the stock cast iron block that it replaces isn’t exactly lightweight. Everything works in this example including the air conditioning, power steering, and lights.
