The Build
Overview
Purists need not apply – this E30 M3 sports a California BAR certified inline-6 S50 motor out of a E36 M3 with only 15k miles on it, and custom Merlot Red paint. These changes were made in the beginning of the car’s life at a cost of $40k at the time – a more substantial investment than the original $34k MSRP. Since then some modern suspension upgrades have been employed to help it keep pace with modern rivals. While this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, we imagine it all comes together to make for a playful companion in the canyons.
