The Build
Overview
Starting life as a fuel-sipping ‘eta’, this E30 325e has had a M30 motor from a 735i swapped in with a turbo bolted on good for ~375hp. It features a close-ratio Getrag transmission to amplify the power and encourage swift rowing, and an intercooler has been fitted to keep the charge temperatures down. The suspension has been dialed-in with proper dampers and camber plates to make this a well-rounded performer. This example was involved in a bruiser early in its life, so a little extra due diligence might be in order.
