The Build
Overview
With over $50k invested into the engine alone, this 280Z track car revs to 8,800RPM and offers 588hp at the wheels on 110 octane. The motor is a RB26DETT out of an R32 Skyline GT-R and it has been built from the pistons out and balanced to 10k RPM. It was built to handle 1,200hp with larger turbos and bigger injectors. The body includes a custom carbon fiber front end and 14″ wider body made partially of fiberglass. We are confident that this Z is as fun to drive as it is fast.
