The Build
With an original curb weight of around 2,100 pounds, this 510 has ingested the drivetrain of a S2000 complete with a 9,000RPM redline and six forward gears. The dollar bills covering the valve cover allude to where the money probably went on this build and is embellished with a custom laser-cut ‘DATSUN’ plaque in place of the original Honda wordmark found on typical F20C’s. We are fond of the unique wrap and of the overall build idea really, which oozes fun and nostalgia with surprises to be found for those who seek them out in the details.
